Warranty Information

It is required that you notify The Last Limb of any defect(s) found within 6 months from the date of your purchase. After receiving the email of said claim, it may be necessary for The Last Limb to arrange for an inspection of your furniture to determine whether a defect exists or not.

Repairs will be attempted as the first option for a resolution method in all cases. If The Last Limb determines that repair is not the right option, The Last Limb will offer a substitute item of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

This warranty protects you only when you purchase your furniture pieces from The Last Limb and is only applicable for normal household use, not for commercial use. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. We suggest and offer options for products upon pick up. We also provide you with care instructions.  The Last Limb will not repair or replace your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use causes damage. This warranty does not apply if your Furniture built by The Last limb is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents including burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentions or pet damage. This warranty also does not cover “in stock” for sale items or furniture items listed “AS IS” at the time of purchase.

All wood reacts to the amount of humidity in your home. Long periods of low humidity will dry wood and cause splitting, cracking, and warping. Exposing your furniture to excessive dampness is also something that should be avoided. Controlling your indoor relative humidity year-round between 40% – 45% will eliminate these problems. When arranging furniture in your home, be thoughtful to avoid heat vents and direct sunlight to prevent discoloration, drying, and cracking.

Action on any claim for major warping/ major structural cracking may be deferred up to 1 year after the project completion to permit pieces to acclimate to temperature and humidity conditions. The deferral period does not count against the warranty period.

Warranty that doesn’t fall under typical warranty.

If you find your furniture to be loose, you are responsible for basic maintenance like tightening a bolt, hardware, or possibly a wood screw. Example: Table top, bed frames, cabinets etc

If the identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, we reserve the right to substitute materials of equal or greater value.

The warranty does not cover furniture found to be abused, misused, exposed to improper humidity levels and/or unsanitary condition. Warranty does not cover commercial use items.

Real wood furniture, can and is expected that it could crack, shrink or expose minor denting or wood grain exposure. These minor imperfections are not considered defects.

If a custom build is requested, and the customer is advised by The Last Limb that the design may have long term issues and the build is still requested to go forward against advice. This situation will be reflected on the invoice and will not be honored by warranty.

Unfinished furniture will be void of this warranty as it was not finished by The Last Limb

The Last Limb Reserves the right to terminate all and any communication, services and future relationships if abusive behavior is presented.
